HIMSS Webinar: Optimization for Outcomes Based Improvement

June 16, 12:00pm, CDT - 1:00pm, CDT

Non-member Price:

Many health care organizations today are experiencing a post implementation “hangover” and find themselves challenged to gain buy-in or effectively measure the success/failure of their goal toward a stable, up-to-date EHR that efficiently enables key organizational strategies.  Clinicians are frustrated that the new system doesn’t meet their needs, users create their own work-arounds which vary from unit to unit.

In today’s competitive market place, it is important to identify ways to optimize the value from the implementation investment.  Optimization efforts can extend from tactical clean-up to strategic business redesign and can occur before, during or after solution implementation.  Utilizing operational, clinical and revenue cycle experience, organizations can drive outcomes-based improvement to meet their defined set of objectives.

Event Objectives: Please list 4-5 learning objectives for the webinar.

  • Understand the key contributors to optimize EHR effectiveness
  • Understand a methodology for an outcomes driven approach

  • Review samples and examples from other organization
