Speaker update!

Meredith Sefa has been with NorthShore University HealthSystem for 20 years and is currently an Assistant Vice President in the Health Information Technology department.  Meredith is responsible for the Ambulatory clinical aspects of EHR and clinical application implementations including Medical Group, Affiliates, Home Health, Hospice, Optimization and Research.  She also participates in Population Health, Personalized Medicine, and Digital Health Initiatives.  Meredith has a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University.

Kelly M. Jones is an accomplished and driven leader with extensive experience in both the corporate and non-profit environments. Kelly currently serves as the Vice-President of Partnerships and Growth for Regroup. She was initially attracted to Regroup because of the company's mission-driven commitment to removing barriers to behavioral healthcare. Prior to Regroup Kelly served as the Senior Vice-President of Marketing for GreyHeller, a software development company focused on mobilizing and securing Oracle® PeopleSoft. Kelly has also served as Executive Director and President of three different college preparatory high schools in Chicago over a 13-year span. During her tenure, she aligned multi-disciplinary teams to create and implement strategic plans which resulted in increased enrollment, improved financials and enhanced public and community relations. For two years, Kelly served as an advisor as part of an international symposium, traveling to China to speak on the importance of internationalizing education for a global and competitive workforce. She currently serves as a member of the Illinois Technology Association's, TechForward Board of Directors, working alongside tech community partners to help create a diverse and qualified pipeline of talent for the tech industry. Kelly’s background includes marketing, sales, consulting, start-ups and education. Kelly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Missouri State University.

Laura Messineo RN, MHA is a dynamic nursing leader in the healthcare industry.   Her innovative nursing leadership skills enable her to successfully align corporate strategic goals to operationalize clinical and financial targets. With over a decade of experience within the telemedicine industry, Laura has proven successes implementing telehealth solutions to drive performance and financial metrics.  In addition, she has diverse management experience across the continuum of care designing, developing and implementing processes to meet organizational objectives. 

Julie Edwards is the Executive Director of the Illinois Telehealth Network as well as the telehealth director for HSHS Healthcare in Springfield, IL.
